The Nathaniel Hawthorne Room.  
This sunny room faces East and an array of maples, oaks, and evergreen trees.  Furnished with 19th century maple twin beds, covered with Wedding Ring Quilts which can become king-size when needed, this spacious room has a private bath with shower that has wonderful side jets for a nice massage.  AC

The Edith Wharton Room.
A large inviting room with an imposing Antique Spanish headboard and a Queen-size bed, this bedroom overlooks the pool, spacious lawns and perennial gardens.  Adjacent is a large master bath with Antique claw-foot tub and shower complete with an antique dry sink.  AC

The Edna St. Vincent Millay Room.
Surround yourself with red roses in this romantic wallpapered room and sleep in an antique mahogany four-poster bed with white matellasé spread.  The bathroom features an antique pedestal sink and wainscoted walls.  Gaze out your window at lovely perennial gardens and a 170-year old red barn.

The Longfellow Room.
A charming yellow-flowered wallpaper reflects the sunny exposure of this room, which has an antique four-poster canopied bed with mauve and yellow patchwork quilt.  Overlooks 300-year old locust tree and towering pines.

The Treetop Room.
In the Carriage House,  a gambrel-roofed barn, this lovely room is truly in the treetops and furnished completely in Adirondack style with a Queen-size log bed, twig chairs and Native American prints.  The lovely bathroom has a jacuzzi for your enjoyment.  AC

Deposit Amount Required:  One Night's Lodging or 50% for three-night or longer stay.

Reservation and Policies:
A 2-night weekend minimum is required during the season (May-Oct) and holidays.  Cancellation policy is one week prior to stay during off-season and two-weeks during in-season.  One night's stay will be charged if cancellation period is less than that.

Well-behaved children over 6 years of age are welcome with parents.  No pets, but guests can enjoy the resident Old English Sheepdog Daisy. A canine B&B is located in the vicinity for housing your pet.

Smoking is allowed out of doors only.
